Stranger

Why have we become,
Strangers to each other?
What can't be undone,
to make it less stranger?

The truth is, we might never,
Have understood each other
Before this ended,
and we said goodbye forever.

We could have tried to save it.
But nothing we did would have helped.
Because it was too far gone.
And nothing could change the way we felt.

Maybe we weren't as perfect.
As we thought we were.
I felt a sense of detatchment.
No matter how things were.

Then you left me in the dirt.
Alone to fend for myself.
I felt so alone.
Even smaller than an elf.

I know.
You'll probably never read this.
Little poem that i wrote.
And sitting here what i wonder is
